Look to the hills
Over the past few months, I have encountered what should have been major set backs. I went on maternity leave and was told 3 weeks prior to my return that my position had been filled. This created major issues financially (obviously) taking our 2 income household down to one. My little boy, only 2 months old needed surgery to repair not 1, not 2, but 3 hernias. And we all know, with surgeries come hospital bills. Yuck! And our most recent fiasco, the motor in our car went out on us. Whew... I could go on and on, but I won't. Why? Because God still reigns.
In all of these circumstances, I have been strengthened. Now, this experience has not been pleasant, but much needed. I have learned to look up prior to looking around. In fact, I no longer look around. I know that my situations are temporal and subject to change. The word says, " I have never seen the righteous forsaken, nor their children begging bread." (Psalm 37:25)
So are you righteous? If so, you are protected. There is no need to fret or fear. Look up and ask your heavenly father to give you the wisdom you need to get through. God always provides a way of escape. He knew what you were going to go through before you did. And He went ahead of you to set up a divine appointment to get you out. It is now your responsibility to look up and gain wisdom, get your solution, and have your need met.
Through it all, my husband and I prayed and believe that God would show us the path He has for us. We have been shown an incredible amount of favor and there have been many that have risen up to help us in our time of need. God has reminded me that in all of this, I still have a purpose and that in this season, he will accelerate my growth and increase me like never before. These situations are no fun to go through, but coming out is awesome! I am looking forward to being a blessing to others, just as others have been a blessing to me.
